Personal sketch

I've been looking for time to do something fun for a while. Finally found a couple nights away from freelance and everything else. Subject is same old, but its for fun after all.

My personal stuff always ends up looking like Star Wars...

Here's a recent illustration for Magic:The Gathering for a card called "Wall of Bone". First image is the initial sketch, second is final.

A more typical step by step would be less straightforward. Here is a rare example where my final image looks pretty much like the initial sketch. This one was for Arenanet.
